Your bridal beauty trial is one of the most valuable appointments before your wedding day. It is a chance to test your look, communicate your vision, and walk out feeling confident about what your wedding morning will be like.

Here is what we recommend bringing.

Inspiration Photos

The most helpful thing you can bring is a small collection of photos that capture the direction you are thinking. These do not need to be identical to what you want. They just need to communicate the feeling: soft and romantic, clean and modern, textured and natural.

Bring three to five images. More than that can start to create conflicting directions. Less is usually more.

Your Veil or Headpiece

If you already have your veil, headpiece, or any hair accessories, bring them to the trial. Seeing how a style interacts with your accessories is important and can change the approach.

A Low-Cut Top or Button-Down

Wear something you can remove without pulling over your hair and disturbing the style once it is done. A low-cut top or a button-down shirt works well. This is a small detail that makes a meaningful difference.

Any Skin or Allergy Concerns

If you have sensitive skin, known product allergies, or specific concerns like rosacea or eczema, let your artist know before and at the trial. This helps us make the right product choices from the start.

Photos of Your Dress (If Possible)

If you have photos of your dress on your phone, bring those too. The neckline, back detail, and overall silhouette all inform the hair and makeup approach.

Your Real Opinion

The trial is the right time to speak up. If something is not quite right, say so. Your artist wants to get it right and would rather adjust during the trial than have you arrive on your wedding day with uncertainty.

There are no bad questions and no overly specific requests. This is your day and your look.

Blushed Tip: Wear your hair down and clean to the trial, unless you are testing an updo. Arriving with a fresh blowout makes it harder to see how the style naturally behaves.

What Happens After

After your trial, we recommend going through the rest of your day with the look on. See how your skin feels, how the makeup wears, and whether the hair stays where it should. Any notes you have are welcome.

When your wedding morning comes, there are no surprises. Just a look you already love.
